I got these for my tailgate extender 2018 f-150 .I had to tap threads on my truck, not threaded just the hole. I used an 3 bar aluminum extender from a 2009 f-150 ,fit perfectly and I can access my truck bed light switch

this does not fit into the hole provided on a 2022 ford f150. I believe ford made a mistake with the middle hole to install the bed extender. the hole above and below will fit this thread kit but center hole that is needed is to small. now it’s to late to return which i had no idea i had a month.So if you come into this situation it’s rather simple. Remove the tail lights to be able to reach inside and install your own nut, bolt and washers.

Product was great. Easy install only thing is you have to tap the hole the bolts go in. Other then that 15 minute install.

The plastic inserts were brittle, two of them broke while trying to instal. Not first time doing this so I know it was the product. Hopefully seller will send me a replacement. Pieces broke so bad can’t find most of the pieces
