Velcro fits securely around lid. Have noticed the insulation effect since the compressor turns on less and internal temperature is more stable. Item is pricey though.

Made very nice and has pockets in front and back for storage. The fit is perfect and Velcro makes it easy to open and close. Will help keep it cooler also.

I really like this cover for the fridge/freezer I purchased. It worked wonderful for keeping the unit safe and insulated. I took them out west for a 30 day vacation and it worked great. The only problem I have is the opening for the power cords on the right side due to the way the power cords plug into the fridge/freezer. The opening is not far enough towards the back of the unit to make it easy to plug in the A/C or D/C power cords when I had to change them. I struggled with that since I had to change the cords out from the top of the pocket instead of the side where the opening is. The only reason I give it a four not a five. I forgot to mention there is a heavy duty clear plastic where the control panel is for easy operation.
