The cooler feels well made, as expected the side with the compressor weighs a little more it’s still light weight overall. The first one we recieved had to be replaced due to a cooling issue, but the replacement works great and cools quickly as stated in the description. The inside is a nice steak design and I like the built in light. It is extremely easy to use and set. It comes with 2 cords for home or auto making it very versatile. We just received the new replacement for a trip, hoping it continues to impress and work as well as it is initially out of the box. It is a fridge/freezer so it does make some background noise, but the sound is minimal for the cooling it provides.Post trip, cooler worked great on the trip. Couldn’t even notice it running from the back of the SUV, and kept everything cold. Easy cord change out for the cooler to go from car to the cabin.

Had high hopes for this cooler. Wanted to test it out before packing full of food on a road trip and SOOO glad I did. First impression was that it felt solid. No handles to break (integrated into body). Also loved that there is a plug in the bottom to drain any liquid. (image 2) Super convenient. Placed it on the back patio, ambient temp in the mid 80s and in the sun then put a refrigerator thermometer inside. It has a eco mode for when your vehicle is off. Also great. First bad part is that the temp screen is VERY difficult to read when the light is bright. (image 3) Even when shaded it’s difficult (image 4). Then we tried to figure how to set (we being me and my 19yo who is very techy and mechanical). It’s NOT intuitive at all. After reading the instructions several times I thought we got it set. Checked 75 min later and it’s on but not cooling at all. Tried for some time to figure out why it wasn’t working and could not get it to cool. The instructions are ridiculously confusing and long. Push and hold a button then push again to change mode etc. TBH I eventually gave up. There’s absolutely no way that I’m going to remember all this and I certainly don’t want to carry around the instructions all the time. Still not sure if it was broken or just too complicated for even my 19yo to figure out. It’s going back.

Got this to help with all the power outages in Texas. I received it and tested it when power was restored.Pro: my Jackery 1000 power station ran this small fridge for 3 days at 39 degrees in a 72 degree room on eco mode. I tested the interior temperature with a separate refrigerator thermometer. That’s good. It will keep a few things chilled while waiting for power to be restored.Con: when power was removed, the interior of the fridge rapidly, within an hour, rose to 60 degrees in a 72 degree room. That tells me there is no insulation. If the room were hotter, say 90 degrees as would be typical during an outage, more power would have been needed to keep things cool. And, while recharging the power station, the food would have spoiled.Bottom line – the fridge functions as advertised, will keep things cool and doesn’t need much power to do so. But don’t count on it to hold temperature for even a short time without power.

I bought this just before a road trip from Colorado to Texas to North Carolina to Delaware and back to Colorado. I got the 32 quart size, which is perfect for my needs. It’s deep enough to hold milk jugs and soda bottles standing up, but small enough to not be too unwieldy and fits where I need it to go. It just about paid for itself in that one trip from savings in meals and allowing me to take leftovers from restaurants without worrying about whether the next motel would have a fridge in the room. None of the hassle or expense of buying bags of ice, and if I want to buy ice cream and keep it completely frozen indefinitely, it’s an option. Cools down quickly, much quicker than they even claim. Very quiet in operation, except for a quite loud CLUNK when the compressor turns off. Comes with an AC adapter, so can take it indoors for overnight or extended stays. At the same time, it runs all night on my car’s battery no problem and the car starts with no perceptible difference in the morning. Who knows how long this thing will last, but I am certainly happy with my purchase.

this car refrigerator is great – I’ve had it for 8 months and many thousands of miles and it works great on 12v in the car and also great plugged in when it’s insidejust a very nice piece of equipment to have for the roadI’ve had it packed to absolute capacity where the lid would barely close, full with frozen food and it maintained it easily for days without anything thawing at allit’s also quiet and doesn’t vibrate much at all – I had this plugged into a wall socket at a cabin with wood floors for a week and nobody noticed it being on … same in the car, it’s not very noticeable unless the car is silentthe power cords don’t get very warm even after hours of use, so it seems like it’s also good on power usagebravo to the engineers who design these

I love this cooler! 12 volt or 110v power cords. I keep mine plugged in and in the backseat. Keep a couple of cold drinks and lunch and even my perishable groceries after shopping. Plenty of space. Some of th interior is taken up by the compressor but i would say you could stack a couple six packs easily. A small shelf for little items like cheese or whatever. I did not read the manual, just plugged it in, use +- buttons to set temp and then press SET. It will freeze, refrigerate, and I think it heats, but i have not used that. It cools pretty fast as well. Depending on your car, you can keep it plugged in for a while without draining the battery. I cannot think of anything I would change. Oh, and there is a Bluetooth symbol on the settings and when I figure that out, it will be a bonus.
