The health of the car chassis is directly related to the performance, safety, and service life of the vehicle
1. Road surface impact and scratching:potholes, bumps, and rural roads can cause impact the chassis. It damages the oil pan and gearbox housing, causing problems such as oil leakage
2. Corrosion and rusting:such as rainwater, snow water, salt water, etc. are prone to splashing onto the chassis, and long-term accumulation can cause rusting and corrosion of the chassis metal components.
3. Stone impact and noise:When driving at high speeds, flying small stones, sand particles, etc. can cause frequent impacts on the chassis, accelerating chassis aging.
The original engine case guard did not effectively protect the vehicle chassis
The problems faced by the Old Engine Splash Shield :
1.Wear and aging:Prolonged exposure to harsh road conditions can cause wear and tear on the chassis guard, resulting in damage.
2.Loosening and detachment:With the aging and the rusting, the engine case guard become loose and detached
3.High temperature:The old guard deformed and unable to effectively guide airflow, resulting in an increase in engine compartment temperature

This part does not fit the Ford Taurus. I sent the incorrect part stating it does not fit and the supplier sent me the same part back! Waiting to see if I can return for refund because the original purchase is + 60 days.
