This product was supposed to work with my Bafang BBSHD mid drive. When I went to plug it in, I realized the end was female, not male.

I ordered this throttle to replace a bad one. I chose this particular model because it shows a yellow plug in the product image. But the one I received had an orange plug and didn’t work on my bike. My wife’s e-bike has an orange plug for the throttle and it worked. I was able to cobble together a cable with a yellow plug to the throttle, but I shouldn’t have had to do that. Two stars because it does work, now.

It does what its supposed to do, but I don’t like the feel of the throttle response. I’m using on my custom electric motorcycle and with a Kelly motor controller. The previous throttle broke when the wires got ripped out, I replaced it with this one, but my old one had a lot better feel to it. I don’t mean the grip, I mean the throttle response is not the same and it is worse now. The first few degrees of rotation on the throttle doesn’t apply any power at all, and at mid throttle it is overly sensitive to changes. Makes it so that when I’m cruising down the road and I hit a bump, the bike jerks forward from the slight change in my wrist position.

Bought it to replace the short handle throttle that came on the trike, feels much better. More like a motorcycle.

Horrible product it is advertise and yellow but when I received it, it was orange so it did not work with my yellow connector
