Spent 4 hours trying to put the fitting on. The bend required was way off. Would not line up at all. Went to autozone bought another one and it went on in 3 seconds.

Before installing, I never had any power steering noise on my car. As soon I started noticing a leak in the old part, I parked the car and didn’t drive it. So no damage could have been done to the pump. Now, after replacement, I hear audible power steering noises. My fluid was flushed and my rack was replaced by the dealer a few years back. Mechanics couldn’t pinpoint the noise. Everything works perfect it just makes a louder power steering noise. Odd…
