These straps are amazingly. They eliminate most of the frustration with dealing with ratchet tie down straps. They roll up nice and neat, no strap ends to deal with. The hook up in a fraction of the time with no problems having too little or too much strap wound on. They are rather large and heavy. The only tricky part in using it is when you are ready to lock the ratchet and start tightening up the straps. Is requires two hands. One to press the button and one to move the ratchet handle.

It seemed to me that all ratchet straps were destined to become a tangled mess of nylon knots. Trying to get them untangled so that you can use them again was a futile endeavor. But then I just happened to do a search for retractable ratchet straps one day and was astounded that such a product existed. I ordered these back in 2019 and have been very impressed. They are simple to use, reliable, and are easy to store in an organized fashion. When you are done using them, simply retract the excess strap back into the spring-loaded housing using the red button. Highly recommended!

The retracting worked as advertised. Just make sure you put a little tension on it or it may twist on retracting. One end is not extendable so the retracting unit may not fit in tight spaces but the soft hook extends it a bit. Be good if the end hooks had spring loaded closures so they would not slip off.

I love that all the strap is inside.Simple to use…Push the release hook both ends, ratchet it up tight, push the release to unhook it, push and hold the release to reel it all back in.

Finally ratchet straps that don’t sit in a tangled mess. My husband loves these! They attach easily and roll up nicely when you are finished. No tangled mess! I would highly recommend them.
