I couldn’t get the transmitter to link up to my vehicle so ended up switching the internal parts of my old for the new. Feels durable and comfortable

This remote will only work 50′ from the car. At this point it defeats the entire purpose of having the system. I also don’t like that a key has to remain in the ignition at all times for it to work. Not a very useful system.

I got a quote for a replacement remote and programming from a place that installs these systems. I saved myself a big chunk of cash by ordering this and using instructions from a YouTube video to program it myself. Easy and cost effective!

I took like a minute to program the remote. I just got it so don’t know about durability but it seems solid.

I’m not sure why Amazon says it was frequently returned. Went to the compustar website to confirm what remote worked with my existing system and looked for the remote on Amazon. This worked great, I lost the original remotes for my system. I was able to put the car in pairing mode easily and synced the remote within 5 minutes. Highly recommend, probably gonna buy another for my spare key too.
