Cowl cover fit perfectly. Easy install. Best to use auto trim fastener tool to remove existing fasteners as the upper fasteners are included, but the lower (black fasteners closer to the engine) are not. You’ll need your existing black fasteners or get your own new ones.Quick tip for washer hose connection; the elbow on the end of the washer hose should be removed. Simply attach the hose directly to the washer motor outlet with the provided clamp. Works well.

The fit was pretty spot on. Doesn’t come with bottom fastners, just top 6 (clear fastners). Try to save the bottom (smaller) black fastners. Wiper arm bolts were a 5/8ths socket. Be gentle popping it off. Can use flathead to start the process

It’s a working part and it fits onto my ’05 Colorado fine (prior to installing new windshield). I don’t see the fact that its made of plastic as a fault, just wanted to state all the facts for a potential buyers knowledge before purchasing. I really hope you find this helpful!

I installed my new windshield cowl on Saturday afternoon. Installation was easy. Unfortunately, the washer system didn’t work. So, I uninstalled the cowl yesterday and tested the hoses for air/water flow. What I found out is that the couplings to the pump and sprayers did not have a flow through opening and, therefore, were never going to work to allow the washer fluid to flow through.I ended up removing the hose assembly that came with the cowl and replaced it with the original hose assembly from the original cowl. I have purchased the cowl for the cowl as the old cowl was breaking apart after 17 years. Thankfully, the hose couplings on the old cowl were still in excellent shape I didn’t have to work about returning the whole system.Note to all: before you install everything, check the hoses and couplings for airflow. That way you’ll know if you need to use the old couplings or if you need to bore a hole through the new ones to allow for the washer fluid to flow through.Overall, I am not dissatisfied as I needed the new cowl. So, the faulty couplings were not a deal breaker for me.

After I had to replace my windshield my cowlings was ruined. This one fit great stopped a leak that was developing. Just removed antenna and wipers and it snapped right in. I have a 2008 GMC Canyon

This product is poor quality and after a little over a year & half is peeling and falling off the vehicle. After contacting the seller they said they no longer handle the cowl. They offered less than half of what was paid for it. Knowing also that I paid an auto shop to install it. I would not recommend this company. Or this product.
