Okay this thing is hysterical. Does it sound like a real cymbal, no but did I get it full well knowing it wouldn’t? Yes! My whole life was spent watching my uncle (a very accomplished drummer) not just wail on the drums IRL but play steering wheel/dashboard drums on countless road trips. Got this for him and was NOT disappointed. The perfect gag gift for any drummer. 10/10 would recommend.

This is one of the silliest things I’ve ever ordered, and I think its very existence shows that we live in a wondrous age of abundance. The item affixes to my air vent just fine, and allows me to have a little cymbal crash when I’m driving/drumming. Such a goofy good time. Kids love it.So silly, and it works great. If you want to be silly, this is a fun. Only use when parked to avoid distraction.

I’m not sure why I expected it to be smaller, but it’s fun. It doesn’t come with instructions, but it’s not hard to put together if you’ve seen similar mechanisms. First, the ball end of the arm goes into the hole on the back side of the bit with the bolt, and you tighten those together. Then you put the cymbal on the bolt but. Then used the twist-on, sun- shaped piece (3) to secure the cymbal to the arm. The arm secures to the vent with a twist knob, so it should fit most vehicles with no problem. The cymbal is durable enough to take all the finger running you can give it and the arm seems to be made from pretty durable plastic too.

This thing is absolutely hysterical, and I love it. Does it sound like a real cymbal? No—but I knew that going in, and that’s what makes it so funny. I’ve always been the type to drum on the steering wheel or desk, and this just takes it to the next level.It was super easy to put together, feels solid enough for what it is, and makes a goofy little sound that never fails to make me laugh. It’s definitely not a serious instrument, but as a fun novelty for drummers or anyone who can’t resist tapping out a rhythm, it’s perfect. 10/10 would recommend to anyone who enjoys a good laugh and a beat.

I saw these on TikTok and figured why not. Turns out they are hilariously fun for someone like me who is always drumming along to music in the car. The attachment is solid, fits well, and handles my drum-hand enthusiasm without slipping.I’m giving it 5 stars.
