Bully Black Bull Aluminum Side Step ensures safe and convenient entry and exit into a truck or SUV. It is a practical and budget friendly upgrade for vehicles. For most truck and SUV owners, adding a side step is often their first modification for their truck and/or SUV. The side step is constructed from single-piece aluminum cast which is corrosion resistant, hence prolonging the life span and durability of the side steps. The frame is lightweight yet durable and does not add unnecessary load to the vehicle. It has matte finish that creates a universal appeal and provides a non-slip stepping surface. Textured and extra deep, this step can be attached to a wide range of sports trucks and SUVs by Chevrolet, Dodge RAM, Ford, GMC and Toyota.

Not an easy install, everything has to be lined up and holes drilled carefully plus the inside bolster plate is just a tad too wide to fit the floor recess on my 1997 F350 crew cab, I had to grind away one side of the bolster plate to get it to fit so it was not a ‘plug and play install. Contrary to other’s comments, the hardware is just fine for the application, nothing broke and the step carries my weight (200 pounds) just fine getting in and out. I did strip the clearcoat and buff them to a mirror finish, matches my polished Alcoa wheels. Will be ordering another pair as I require 4 steps for my 4 door.

I was surprised at the quality for the price. Much heavier than they look. I installed them on my PIERCE Fire Truck for our company and everyone loves them! They are very unusual because the mounting is horizontal and mount perfect to the bottom of the truck. Most of this kind of step only have a vertical mounting point and I only had a 2 inch clearance and that would have not cleared, but with this step it gave us perfect mounting and boot clearance. PLUS they come with a bonus 1/4 inch thick interior mounting non-slip plate, so you will NOT slip off your vehicle once inside

I installed on my Kubota RTV 1100, which has a high ground clearance, making it hard to get into–18.5 inches. These steps shaved 6.5 inches off of that–much easier now for a 74 year old! Very sturdy. I did modify installation: first by tossing instructions away & using “common sense” Instead of using the supplied sheet metal screws on the smaller holes, I enlarged to same size as larger holes & used 5/16″ bolts instead. This gave each step four bolts, making it very secure. I used very large flat washers on the floor pan side for the two holes I enlarged & flat & lock washers & thread lock & jam nuts on each bolt underneath–should not come off, unless the floor board falls through, or step breaks. I was thinking of ordering another set, one for my tractor & one spare, but when I checked the price, it had increased from $41 (which I paid) to $72, over a 75% jump in less that 3 weeks-????? I will waiter find something else. Also a few reviews mentioned cheap hardware, I did not experience this, but I didn’t over-torque nuts & replaced some of the screws, nuts & washers as previously stated. Overall very pleased. Only time will tell if they hold up. Would buy again, if price is right, cannot understand such a rapid, steep price hike???

They look amazing and are pretty easy to install with a drill and socket set. They are super sketchy to stand on though as they flex a lot and the truck rocker panels flex a lot too. Sort of poorly designed for weight holding. They are more for looks if I am being honest. My biggest gripe is how cheap the install hardware was. I wasn’t even able to drive the support screws in because the heads stripped right off. This is due to the poor quality of the metal of the screws that were supplied. I believe they supplied aluminum screws, which is just insane. Aluminum is not strong enough to be a screw here. I could probably cut those screws with a spoon lol. I had to go to the local hardware store to get some actual install hardware, but that doesn’t fix the poor weight distribution design of the pedals themselves!!This product gets 3 stars because it redeems itself with its beautiful looks, and although sketchy to stand on or use, it does somehow hold my weight (200 lbs). I wouldn’t doubt it if my rocker panels ripped off one day though. It is worth a buy, but I bought them at $40 a pop. Not worth $80 a pop!!!

My husband added a reinforcement bar when he installed these on his older F250, otherwise they would have been fine for just a small child to use. Today was the first time I needed to get into his truck and OMG these work great for short li’l old me! No more feeling of climbing Mount Everest anymore YAY and no more strained muscles trying to do so without this side step double YAY!

I’d been trying to find an extension step to add to the step on my John Deeere 5075E The stock step is over 17 inches from the ground and I’m in my 80s and not as limber as I used to be. I’d tried without success to find a tractor extension step which would work nicely with this tractor and came across this cast aluminum step designed for trucks. With a spacer to clear the extension flange on the underside of the stock step it required simply drilling a pair of holes, slightly shortening the rail that came with the steps, and a pair of longer carriage bolts to accommodate the spacer. The lower step is now about 9 1/2″ from the ground, making it easier for an old man to get on and off the tractor.

I gave it 4 stars because I had to ream out the flat piece of metal because the holes didn’t line up. And the screws heads stripped so I used galvanized self tapping screws instead. I also added lock washers. But other then that I am very pleased. They fit perfectly in my 1994 Ford F150. Now my wife can get in very easily. She had trouble when I lifted it up 2”.

it was received in timely manner ,no damage to product.it would look great on vehicle. if it was the correct part for mine. be careful of accepted return time . which are free. looks like it would hold more weight than car body would hold makes getting in truck a lot better if you have a health issue or height challenge , i’ll be buying another set soon .
