LOCKING INSTRUCTIONS
- Just locked into the standby state, the warning light does not immediately light up, there are a few seconds to stay, in order to prevent False alarms when the owner closed the door caused vibration.
- After 8 seconds, turn into the warning state, the LED indicator light is flashing, slightly touched, it will alarm.
- After the alarm is activated, the warning light flashes rapidly, giving 130 db of warning sound after 8 seconds, This is to prevent the owner unlock, open the door or other ways to touch the alarm, resulting in false alarms.

This product is defunct. Everytime I close it makes a buzzing sound that don’t go off. I only had this product since July 2nd and the noise started on July 13th. That means it was only working for 11 days. Not good for a product that cost 60 dollars

Tried a few different sets of batteries to no avail. When inserted it started unstopable buzzing open or closed. Non functional alarm. Blinking light did not work. Returned straight away in box….

Easy to install and use. I believe it will be a deterrent and hope that a would be thief, will just pass by the car when they see it attached to the steering wheel!

Requires qty3 AAA batteries. When my wife and I first installed them – we finally realized about 20 minutes later – that it was Broke. No matter what we did – the alarm was constantly going off. Quite loud. Can be substantially muted by placing thumb over the speaker opening. However – all of that seems to be because the unit was ‘locked’ when I installed the batteries. So the key and locking/unlocking did not seem to have ANY effect. I put on Hearing Protection when I installed it into my car – and it started screaming several times during that… For my 1991 vehicle – it seems a little ‘large’ but with a little angling – you can easily get it over a spoke on the Wheel and in proper position on the dash. In the morning – going to leave – we were thinking the alarm might go off just while driving down the road – but apparently it had settled into proper “I am set mode’ – and so when I unlocked it; opened it up to remove from the steering wheel – I found the alarm light was now OFF and it was inert. Later parking the vehicle – and locking it to the wheel – the alarm system became active; and the warning light blinking. There are 3 thin rods holding the two lock sections together – and with proper space – probably not hugely difficult to cut thru. And as anyone who has watched a few you tube lock picking videos is aware [L picking Lawyer] – virtually any lock can be picked in less than 30 seconds. But this still seems like a good deterrent – fair price. Is it a guarantee? Totally NOT. Is it a Deterrent? Yes. Make it harder to steal the car? Yes. So I somewhat recommend. And I don’t think most thieves carry around hearing protection. Very loud.

The only drawback of this lock is that the alarm is activated after the car is stolen 😂. I’m being sarcastic, but the alarm activates about a minute after moving the lock, when it should activate instantly

Due to the make, model and year, my Insurance company (CAA) advise on my renewal March 2024 I would be charged surcharge because my vehicle is a listed model that gets stolen all the time.So after researching this model, it’s quality material and convience installing I chose this brand/model and have been completely satisfied. It was worth the $70.00 investment. Highly recommend.
