Autel makes good EV chargers so no surprise that this replacement cable is also a winner. The great thing is that it will work with any Level 2 charging system. For most brands it’ll be a significant upgrade. You can just look at it side by side with a ‘garden variety’ cable and see the difference in quality of materials and construction. 25 foot length is sufficient for most needs, it’s flexible, coils nicely and can stand up to the elements. Recommended.

This is a nice heavy duty cable.The weight of it lets you know the cables inside the thick sheathing are a good gauge.The cable is nice and flexible as opposed to stiff.The length makes it easier to hook up, I do not have to work as hard to get close to the charger.For us this was a great upgrade, and we would buy it again.5 STARS

Super reliable and has been nothing but good news with this charger. The length of the charger is a significant plus, providing flexibility and reaching the charging port with ease. It supposedly supports all EV charging stations, which is great for compatibility.The charging speed is impressive, considerably faster than the Level 1 charger I previously used. This has been a game-changer in terms of reducing the overall charging time. The build quality is sturdy, and the charger feels durable, capable of handling regular use without any issues. I’ve been using it for several weeks now, and its performance has been consistent and efficient. If your looking for a dependable Level 2 charger, this one is is definitely worth considering.

I have been using the Autel EV wall charger for about an year. Everything works great, easy to use, and love the app control. No issues with my Tesla. I have one installed in all my homes. But one thing I didn’t like was the quality of the charging cable. It gets very still when the weather gets cold. Luckily I am in LA, where it doesn’t snow. So the stiff cable issue is not that bad. But know some placed that gets really cold at winter, can be a problem for the charging cable. The cable will become almost like rock hard, very difficult to bent. But this cable solves that issue. The new cable no longer gets stiff during cold weather. Even in about 32 degrees, the cable is still fairly flexible. I feel this is how it should be from the beginning, not something we need to pay $200 to resolve. Plus all the newer Autel chargers comes with this new cable already, why do old user need to pay $200 to upgrade the cables ourselves? I am hoping Autel can take care of their old customers by replacing it for free.

This is simply a really well-made cable. It is very flexible, even when it is cold outside (as it is in my garage). You can tell the manufacturer paid attention to detail, as it is even evident in the single strands of wire–They are properly tinned, crimped and even marked. Everything is very professional. The charger fits the same as my others do/have, as it is standard SAE J1772. It worked as expected after installation.5 stars, thanks!

Our charger tip burned up on our vehicle-brand charger, causing charging faults. I read that the tips that you can buy for the end of your existing “hose” are more complicated to install. With the cable / tip combo, the hookup inside the charger is very simple, just four wires, so it would be hard to misconfigure. This cable is thinner than my original, and it does get noticeably warmer to the touch when full charging, but it does not get hot. It is rated for the max current of my unit, and it has worked reliably after two months with daily use. I would buy it again as a solution to a similar problem.

I had to purchase this replacement because the one that arrived with the charger stopped working. Since I was still within the warranty, I requested that they reimburse me for the purchase of the cable. They informed me that they could see my charger was also faulty, and they needed to replace it. Months later, I am still waiting for a replacement and a refund. They just requested that I mail back the faulty charger and once they receive it, they will send me a replacement. HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO CHARGE MY CAR IF I MAIL BACK THE CHARGER BEFORE THE NEW ONE IS SHIPPED? That’s absolutely ridiculous. And who knows what this bad charger might be doing to my car? I am starting to accept that I may have lost about $900 on their bad products, and that they have no intention of correcting the situation.
