This worked well with my OEM replacement gas cap. Before going in I did flex the living hinge of the plastic to make sure it didn’t break and to my delight it stayed intact. Overall it seems way overpriced but at least I won’t lose a gas cap.

Broke the original clip when I purchased the replacement gas cap. This one was a perfect fit. Good as new.

I had to buy a new gas cap from the dealership. But it did not come with this attachment. It fit perfectly with the tether but because it is mad of plastic when you bend it, it does has the hairline crack. You can only do it once. If you were to open it again, it will probably break. But it works for what you need it to.
