Worked well on changing a 180/70/15 motorcycle tire

Spoons work well, but the plastic slides break easily

Well made and great shape that makes them very functional. I found myself needing one more rim protector, I would give it five stars if it came with three rim protectors.

Much better than my old short bars. Made my life better!

I was using the Harbor Freight tire irons but they are fat, straight and not very well designed. These on the other hand are perfectly designed to slip under the tire bead lip and pull it up for mount or dismount. I am using these on 13″ car steel wheels (old) along with the HF tire changer to hold the wheel. But even without the HF tire changer these would work fine. Just make sure you press the bead on the opposite side down into the wheel trough before inserting one of these on the opposite side and pulling up. The rim protectors are good too, but if you get a couple more even better, so you don’t have to remove or move them around as you go. And always use plenty of tire bead lube. All in all these make tire changing almost easy. Almost….

With an enormous effort, I was able to replace a front tube, and completely replace a rear tire. The tools did function. Doing this job alone, this wasn’t a simple process, and I did scratch my rims. I think the tools likely worked as well as they could, but with no way to keep one tool in place while battling a tire with another, I lost as much ground as I gained. Rim protectors are a great idea, but again, how many hands do you have to keep things in place? These were factory new tires on a chilly day. As my only set of tire bead tools and only bicycle tires to compare with, these seemed well designed and did the job.

Used them for the first time to replace a wheel barrow tire inner tube. Worked very well. What an improvement over pry bars, screw drivers etc.

I actually bought this for my fat tire e-bikes. The regular tools for bicycles were just not beafy enough. These work great for a difficult job. Would recommend.
Samantha DOhrman –
Best tire irons I’ve used. Well thought out angles and length for changing tires. Someone who has changed dirtbike tires design these
