2 of 5 holes on the air filter side were not tapped for air filter attachmentLuckily they were drilled and I had a tap. Maybe there is a different air filter housing on electric start k161, mine is pull cord starter.Air filter side gasket is incorrect, had to make my ownNo fuel line fitting. I was able to salvage the one off my old carb and install, but I’m not convinced the threads matchedCarb needed adjustment to run, although this is An old engine so some of the blame may be in the rest of the system. When adjusting, I am not convinced the screws can truly be turned in all the way to the seat for preliminary adjustment, they look to bottom out on the springs.I did get it running at idle, still tinkering with smooth transition to full throttle.Machining is clean, carb did not leak, adjustment smooth.
LONG RUNNER –
I had to give it an overall 4 star rating because the inlet needed to be re threaded with a tapered pipe tap so the fuel fitting would screw in. Other than that, it seemed to work fine. Considering the rarity and cost of the original carburetor, it is worth buying.

Fit perfectEasy install and best of all started right up and runs great

This old tiller was my Dad’s which he bought in the 70’s. Old carb was badly corroded, my fault. I found this exact replacement on line. Fit perfectly with the exception of needing to get metric screws to mount the air cleaner housing. Runs like a champ again. I’ll be more careful when I put it away for the winter so I won’t have to go through this again. The price was reasonable and delivery was quick.

Installed easily but the float is sticking intermittently, going to have to take it apart.

Engine started fine, but it would just idle, adjusting screws did nothing, fuel bowl leaked, and a plastic float, imagine that. I guess I just paid 18 bucks for a fuel filter, it seemed to work. I guess you get what you pay for. I probably won’t be able to send it back since I did use the filter.
