Worked but not an exact fit. listing was wrong

I put this in my 2004 Suburban 2500 yesterday in about an hour taking a few breaks along the way. the 2 small studs on the top side are about 1/8″ too long to take the canister out easily without loosening the bumper. I cut a little off the top of each and it went much smoother. fixed the issue and the check engine light is off. Don’t fill past the pump clicking off!

Direct replacement for the existing cannister. So far it has solved my fuel issues.

The original canister was losing charcoal pellets into the hoses and while I didn’t get the error code yet, I did start to have difficulty filling up because the gas pump was clicking off prematurely. This new canister plus the vapor canister and purge valve solved my problem.

Took locating by part number of existing canister to get correct part, Amazon suggested others that did not fit..
