These were a perfect fit and open the trunk all the way. Very easy to open and close. Spherical joint is a separate piece which makes instal much easier.You’ll need a 10mm socket for the taillight bolts and upper strut bolts. Lower spherical joint uses a 14mm wrench.

i put them on pulled the 2×4 out from under the gate and it slammed shut , dont buy this brand there no good

This item was securely processed as an item that fits my make , model, year of vehicle. It didn’t meet the exact specifications for the bolt pattern. But because the struts I had were blown they filled the roll of design to the application.

Timely delivery. No idea what dealers charge for this $40 pair of supports. Quality/fit looks easily as good as the OEM and the clip-on locking spherical joints (found in the bottoms of the sealed bags and requiring a 12mm wrench, contrary to another reviewer’s otherwise very helpful post), are an improvement over the original version.Two (uninjured!) thumbs up.
