Tubing is great. I thought it might be tough to bend but with my Rigid 3/8″ tubing bender it was no issue at all. This might be my new go to tubing… only time will tell.

Good fuel line. The coiled part is a bit tough to get into a straight stick. Bend OK (I really should get a better tube bender, so I won’t say anything bad about the tubing when I really think it is my bender).I will not be testing the 3,000 PSI rated working pressure. Yea, that is the rated working pressure, burst is 15,000+. Couple hundred PSI fuel pressure, no hesitation. Feel a little too thin to really trust it at 3000. I’ll let someone else find out.

Here we have a very nice coil of 316L 3/8″ OD tubing. As it is food grade I plan on using for home brewing.This is a very high grade of stainless. In addition to being food grade it has excellent heat resistance, corrosion and formability. This also makes it an expensive grade. The OD measures pretty much right on 3/8″ and I measure the wall at .029″. This is on the thinner side but I am using it at lower pressures. Even at conventional fuel injection pressures (75 psi or less) this will hold up no issues. The thin wall will allow for easy bending and forming. It is also very weldable to your standard beer keg for example. The magnet test supports 316 metallurgy.While not cheap this is an excellent value for what you’re getting.

High Quality true stainless steel alloy 3/8” o.d. tubingThis stainless steel alloy tubing is perfect for my application of use as an EVAP line with clamped on slipped over hose connections.This tubing comes temporarily “annealed” to be soft for forming simple one bevel 37 degree flares. Stainless Steel work hardens with even the most delicate of machining like cutting or bending or shaping so you cannot make a reliable Inverted Double Flare. Machining to create an Inverted Double Flare produces too much work hardening such that the Inverted Double Flare will fail from cracks immediately or very soon. I would not dare trust stainless steel alloy tubing for brake lines or fuel lines or hydraulic lines created in the home garage.

25 feet will last me for years! This stainless steel tubing will come in handy for the many times I need to replace old, rotted, rubber gas lines on my diesel and gasoline tractors here on my farm. I can also repair old garden hoses. The S/S tube will last forever and the roll will hang in my shop so I can cut what I need …when I need it, without having to run to the hardware store every time.

This is excellent SS tubing. This particular SS alloy is well suited for extreme environments, but not so desirable for straightening, making bends, and lapped fittings. I have a set of rather expensive, high quality tubing straighteners. None are effective in straightening this tubing, though they work fine on others. Same with lapped fittings. Furthermore, it will work harden under vibration; I don’t recommend it for off road and farm use for that reason. So consider this when determining if this tubing is for you. If is is, I don’t think you will find anything superior.
