Our awning was town off.. from a fully closed and locked position.. while in Florida. Someone who was there at the time said what looked like a small tornado came through. Billowed the awning open and broke three of the 4 attachment points. These lower brackets and one of the upper brackets. This was on a 2006 Four Winds 31P with a 16 ft Dometic awning. I purchased new lag screws and sealed the screw hole areas when I replaced these. Used the original base plates these rest on.Now onto replacing the upper bracket and trashed awning….

I bought this one as it matched the model number for the bracket I needed to replace on my camper slide out. We put them on a couple weekends ago, and pulled the slide out out on the camper. Within about a day and a half to 2 days, the slide out arm supports were laying on the ground and the slide out was hanging down. Some minor damage happened to the slide out but it is easily fixed. The clip part on the brackets gave out, and the back of these also bowed out. Hard part was trying to get the slide out back inside with no supports. If you are going to use as a replacement bracket for a slide out I highly recommend you don’t get these.

Worked perfectly. I had ordered a different one that looked the same but it didn’t work so try to find the part number you need. I found ours on the manufacturer website

One would have worked but the other one would not fit proper. But they came in pairs so had to send both back.
