This coolant service kit has many adaptors to use on all different types of cooling systems. Since many cars now have pressurized expansion bottles, this kit comes in handy for someone that works on a variety of vehicles. The hand pump works very well at pressurizing the cooling system to check for leaks. The pump holds the pressure until the pressure release valve is pressed. I recently used this kit to pressure test a new radiator that was installed and it worked extremely well. This kit saves a ton of time when the cooling system is opened up for service. I don’t have to worry about tracking down cooling system leaks after the system is filled and warmed up to operating temp. It keeps the expensive coolant from being wasted. The best way to use the vacuum coolant filler is to search online for videos.

I ordered this to use professionally and the main reason was the amount of adapters it comes with. I have both the red line comparables that this kit comes with.The amount of adapters is amazing it comes with enough to work on newer stuff and older alike, they all seal up good too.This kit also comes with a couple thermostat cap pressure testers there handy but I’ve not had a use for them yet.The pressure tester works okay it doesn’t have any leaks and the pressure release works as it should but will make a mess in certain situations. The largest issue I’ve had with the pressure tester is the needle gets stuck around the 15psi area and you have to tap or flick the gauge to get it correct.The coolant vacuum works good it’s a bit overcomplicated in its design it works very slow meaning it doesn’t pull coolant near as quickly which could be a good thing depending on the situation. I question if cutting the feed hose with the filter on the bottom would speed it up. In comparison per psi it doesn’t pull near as much vacuum as my red line unit but it’s never been an issue to the point it didn’t fill the system.I think all in all for what your getting here it’s an excellent buy I spend upwards of 70$ for one extra red line adapter off the Matco truck. This kit is well constructed and will cover most applications..
