This is a great addition to my camping gear. Normally when I travel with my RV in the Winter, I don’t use the toilet for fear of frozen pipes. Now I don’t have to worry about camping in cold weather! This product is well made with thick fabric and velcro that actually works.

The product matches the images. Unfolds easy with a durable nylon canvas. It wraps easily around the drain with wide velcro the entire length to keep it on. So far seems to be a great product that will give us piece-of-mind that the drain will not freeze and clog for our winter trips. We used a laundry marker to identify inside vs outside in case the stickers that come on it degrade. The power cord is heavy duty to prevent it from overheating. Nobody likes to deal with clogs in the cold so this will be a welcome addition.

I was a bit tentative at first, I’ve seen these heated sleeves sell for more than $200 more than I paid for this, but so far it’s worked fine. I’m in central Ohio, we’re experiencing one of the coldest winters, with the heaviest snowfall in the last 20 years, and this thing has kept my black hose from freezing in my RV.

Have this in my RV temps are between 10-40 this winter so far with some gusts making it around 2degrees and so far so good

Was real hopeful for this so i could just leave the sewer hooked up like in the summer but it doesn’t work. Pipe is froze. I wish these hoses and this thing had a switch instead of a sensor to tell when it’s cold. But don’t buy it, it doesn’t work and it’s over the 30day return. If it had a switch a person could test it when it’s warm outside and know it works. Will not buy again and will not recommend to any of my friends that camp unless this company sends me one that works.
