Despite what you might read on the Internet, this part did not fit my Indian Motorcycle. Specifically, a 2019 Indian Chieftain Limited. This part is too small and, and would actually fall into the fairing.

Im so glad that I found these. The original one was old and of course broke. so the door would just fall down. These were less expensive and just as good. The great thing is they came as a pair. so you have a spare. Looking at the old one, I could see no difference in quality. Snag these and you can replace the door that won’t stay shut

It’s just a few bucks, so worth a shot, Plus you get two of them!For qualified service personnel only!On my Koss CD player / Boombox, it fell out of my car head first, and the CD door on top wouldn’t stay closed. Fortunately, only this latch was broken.More fortunately, it’s a pretty standard part and just snaps out of and and into place. I did have to file the opening just a little to get it to fit, but once it did, it snapped in and the door stays closed like new!I was happy to discover this little thing is a standard, commodity part used in a lot of things besides CD players, and I was able to get it quickly and fix my CD player.Of course, you should know what you’re doing before you take any electronics apart, because you can be exposed to dangerous voltages that can kill you! If you don’t know what I’m talking about, then leave it alone and find someone to replace the latch for you.This is for qualified service personnel only! Don’t believe me? Hey, you do you. Just don’t come and sue me because I didn’t warn you not to reach for that screwdriver. Don’t do it, I tell ya! At least unplug the dang thing first!
