Mr. Schwamp –
This pan is an excellent value. Be sure to research the necessary oil pan gasket. I used the Felpro silicone, BUT it needs to be the “thin” one. I used Fel-Pro OS 34509. The thin gasket is more closely associated with older SBC blocks, but I used this pan and gasket on a 1981 block. Works great – No Leaks!

The description states it will fit 1st Gen. 350 SBC. I have a new crate engine with the two piece rear seal and is identical to the the original engine that was removed. Seller’s description shows that this oil pan will fit a Gen. 1 engine with their gasket set due to the front curved seal being shorter. Purchased both. Oil pan will not fit onto the block due to splash plate hitting a main bearing cap. I was charged a return shipping fee and a restocking fee on items that did not fit as described by seller.I will not purchase from this seller again. Poor customer service. I would give them 0 stars but you can’t.
Michael B. –
It fit perfectly and was easy to install with the plastic pegs that hold it up for you- handy when you’re installing all by yourself.
