Description:
· 12-pin axle spindle hub bearing retaining nut socket
· Designed to assist with removing and installing hub bearing retaining nuts
· Equipped with a 1/2” drive – compatible with ratchets, breaker bars, and torque wrenches
· Built from hardened steel with a black oxide finish for durability and corrosion resistance
· Fits rear hubs on Dodge Ram 2019+ 3500 dual rear wheel, 4500, and 5500 (D2, DD, DP) chassis cab trucks with 12″ axles
Fitment:
Fits Dodge Ram 2019 and newer 3500, 4500, 5500 (D2, DD, DP) with 12″ rear axles.
Instructions:
1. Chock front wheels and safely jack up rear of truck using manufacturer jacking points.
2. Remove rear wheels to access hub nut.
3. Clean debris from hub nut and surrounding area.
4. Fully seat socket over 12-point hub nut.
5. Attach 1/2″ drive torque wrench to the socket.
6. Loosen hub nut without fully removing it.
7. Use breaker bar for extra leverage and remove nut.
8. Inspect hub nut threads and bearing for damage—replace if necessary.
9. Reinstall or replace nut, and torque to 500 ft-lbs using a torque wrench.
10. Reinstall wheels, lower truck, and torque lugs to spec.
11. Remove chocks and test brake operation before driving.
