Product introduction:
This obd2 to obd1 6pin Plug adapter for use with certain later European motorbikes – Moto Guzzi, Piaggio,Vespa etc. This is a new plug type created as a standard (ISO/DIS 19689).This adaptor converts a standard 16 pin OBD2 type plug to a 6 pin plug for plugging into the motorbike diagnostic socket. It covers CAN Bus and K-Line connection. Models like the fit for Moto Guzzi V100/V85TT, for Piaggio 6pin,for Vespa 6pin ,for KTM Duke R 890,for Suzuki GSX-S1000 GT,fit for Honda 6 pin diagnostic cable,for Kawasaki KLR650/KLX230S/Z900RS/Ninja 400/Ninja 650, for Yamaha 6pin，for Benelli and many others use this connection. Typically used with diagnostic readers to convert the standard 16 pin plug into the required 6 pin plug.
It can be used with a standard can-bus equipped fault reader(diagnostic device).Also it can be used with other hardware/software interfaces that work with relevant models.

With the introduction of Euro5 emissions in Europe they are also becoming the standard for global emission standards. This adapter works well when reading out and deleting codes in Euro5 emissions motorcycles (pretty much all starting with the 2021 model year). This is a quality adapter cable for connecting a OBD2 scan tool to a modern motorcycle. I tested it with a 2021 Moto Guzzi V7 Stone 850 Euro 5-compliant motorcycle. As you can see in the photo, the 6 pin connector is located right under under the seat where it is readily accessible. I connected an inexpensive OBD2 scan tool to the cable adapter and was able to establish communication with the motorcycle. Of course, what you are able to do with this adapter cable will depend entirely on the capabilities of your scan tool.

Worked great. This allowed me to plug in my existing obd ii scanner (nothing special, just a cheap basic scanner) to my 2024 Yamaha MT-07. All of the scanner functions worked great including reading codes, clearing codes and viewing realtime data. No complaints.
