First picture: This is what I ordered, exactly like what I had.Second picture: this is what I got. Could it work? I don’t know. Will they take it back if I try it and it doesn’t work and it smells of gas? I doubt it.

Fit my mercury gas tank perfectly. Just need to remember to order a gasket since it is not included with this item. Solved my leak problem. Previous owner of the tank must have used ethanol fuel because the bottom of the old pick up was all cracked.

The picture of product is of the old style.What you get is an updated part,and the fuel pick-up can be adjusted if desired.Just make sure you have the proper gasket,sometimes the old one can be reused.

This seems to be a decent part. Not as nice as the original, but it will get the job done. The biggest downfall is that it does not include a gasket. Since you have to replace the gasket also, they could at least offer one for sale….but they do not.

Ridiculous price, but cheaper than a new gas tank. Good fitment. Would buy again, if I had too!
