E. F Santamaria –
I have a Trek Vapor3 helmet, and the inserts wore out about 8 months ago. The helmet is still in good shape, and looks good, so I didn’t want to replace it. I’ve been wearing it without the pads, but the little velcro nubs inside the helmet were (rightfully) very scratchy against my skin.Lo and behold, I find these pads, and they’re great! They really are more comfortable than the originals – they’re thicker and have more cushion. However, I say that as a “weekend warrior” biker – I’m not a serious cyclist, who cares more about perfect fit, weight reduction, etc. So, the serious cyclists may want something with less padding?Overall, I’m a happy man because a few bucks for these pads have essentially renewed my helmet!

Perfect fit for my old Trek Vapor 3 helmet. Foam is just under 1/4″ thick. Easy to install and includes a few extra Velcro dots…just in case. Great price, too. Initially looked to buy a new helmet, was shocked to see the cheap ones are about $75 and go up to a couple hundred bucks! With these replacement pads, my nearly 20 year old helmet is good as new.

These fit my helmet like they were made for it 😉 I only needed to replace the pads in my helmet, so it was very quick and easy. I’ll keep the Velcro dots, in case I need them later. The pads are actually more comfortable than the originals.

These pads fit my Trek Vapor 2 perfectly. Used the old velcro dots, so just saved the ones that came with this. Was very easy to remove the old liners and stick these to the existing velcro. As others have said, these are thicker, but I am very pleased. I like them better than the original ones.

These are simple, THICK, replacement pads for an old Trek MTB helmet. It’s an older helmet, but I haven’t wrecked with it yet, so it will work for a few more rides.

I was very glad to find these foam inserts; they fit my Trek helmet and are comfortable. I like that helmet and now I do not need to buy a new one. I think it is a good value- they are good quality foam and are cut perfectly to fit the helmet.
