These were immediately recognized by the trailering app on my 2024 Chevy HD. Works great! I can’t tell if the maximum range is less the the OEM in-the-wheel sensors because the trailer has to be hooked up to pull up the pressure display. They have been flawless on my 14 foot cargo trailer; maybe not on a 38 foot toy hauler. Saved me hundreds of dollars so I’m happy.

I have edited this review a multitude of times, but I have finally discovered the problem. I think every negative review has this same issue (they just do not know it). First, the reader that comes in this package provides two frequencies. It provides both 315MHz and 433MHz (just good to know because you have google for this info). NOW after nonstop problems with the 433MHz because this is what the product description said, I finally tried a 315MHz from a tire on the vehicle that I was working (I had one good and 3 bad) and bingo. For the temp time, I have all 4 tires reading the one working TPMS which only helps with the error message. I will order new TPMS and fix the issue correctly. I bet the issue is that TPMS that GM uses must vary a great deal. We have a 2018 GMC Yukon and turns out it is a 315MHz. It is possible that I have 9 bad 433MHz new TPMS monitors, or my vehicle is actually a 315MHz. I am not sure if I blame the product (sensors) description or if this is more of a GM issue. I just would need to find a 433MHz compatible vehicle to really confirm, but I think I will play the odds. I would recommend in future to buy both and try the first time if not certain. You can do this before evening taking the tire off to be sure.

So, I reduced this rating by three stars because the instructions were not included. That caused me to do some Internet research on how to use this programmer and to figure out to remove the protective layer in the sensors, which are there to keep the battery life preserved. All the parts are there, and the system works despite these shortcomings. One thing that is a positive, is that you don’t have to have the sensors mounted to program them to your GMC vehicle. Some TPMS systems require the sensors to be under pressure when programming whereas these sensors do not.I own 2024 GMC Sierra HD pick up. These sensors are going to go onto my pontoon boat, which has a two axle trailer so I will need to use all four sensors to program this system. I had to hook up my trailer to my truck’s receptacle so that the computer can see the attachment. From there, I was able to add a trailer in my app that is built into the GMC infotainment system and add another trailer profile with these sensors.I found the most convenient way to program these sensors was to initiate the learn program of the GMC app while the truck is running. Once I discovered this sequence, each sensor was programmed into the vehicle and it was ready to go. I read so many complaints prior to attempting installation, where people did not have very much success programming these sensors. The Takeaway, in my opinion, should be to get all your sensors ready to go by removing the paper film between the battery, having a charged 9 V battery for the programming unit, get your vehicles app from the infotainment system ready to go, and then program each sensor while making sure to keep track of their position according to your vehicles instructions. You don’t have to have them mounted on the trailer at this point, but you do need to keep track of which position each sensor was programmed for. I am making this way more complicated than it needs to be, but without instructions from the distributor, this is what you get! 🙂 The hardware and system really do work fine, and I gave it such a low rating because of how much of the work they should have done, I had to do to create this review. I’d sure appreciate a check mark 🙂 The only question left at this point, is how reliable are the sensors? One more thing, there are jam nuts and a small tool included. You need to thread on the jam nut onto the valve stem first, then the sensor. Once the sensor is attached, then turn the jam nut counter clockwise to keep the sensor from loosening and coming off. Yikes!! This is a common method with these sorts of sensors.Despite all the hard work I just performed for you as well as myself, I am happy with my order and I hope this was helpful. ✔️ Thanks!

Pairs up easily to Chevy trailer Tpms system. Does not have pass through for the air chuck so you must use the pairing tool. The anti stealing tech is just double nut on it. They give you one wrench. Didn’t seem to do much but need to be able to remove to add air.

This tire pressure sensor system I wanted to like so badly but after over a dozen attempts to get this system to work I have sadly had to admit defeat. This system does not want to work with my GM truck, even though it is on the approved list of vehicles it will work with. I read through quite a few of the other reviews to learn what others did to ensure they had a successful pairing with their vehicles. I followed the same steps as they did but was never able to get a successful pairing with my truck.The tire sensor unit works well with the existing sensors in the tires so it is not a complete loss, but the sensors that go on each tire just would not work for me. I am the kind of person who will keep trying different ways til I can get a new piece of tech to wok, I very much enjoy the challenge. But sometimes you also have to know when a new piece of tech is just not setup in the first place to allow you to be successful, that is the case here in my opinion.The tire sensor is good value for money, it works with existing GM vehicles, it is easy to use but the tire pressure sensors are sadly pretty much junk. It makes me feel sad to have to write this review but this product does not live up to the ease of use that it advertises, so buyers be where.

I have a 2018 GMC Sierra Texas edition, this does not work with it. The description should be updated to include that the 2018 model may not work. I even ordered new batteries, successfully entered tire reprogramming mode but the tool did not work. My guess is I need the 315 MHz frequency. This tool is for 433 MHz.
