Attractive and functional crash bar which was easy to install in around 30 minutes. I had a set of highway pegs and was able to easily mount these to the lower portion of the side down tubes for added functionality. Need 1.25″ size highway pegs to fit these tubes. Nice footprint to help protect motorcycle without protruding to far out. Decent powder coated paint, need to be careful if installing highway pegs as they may mar the finish a bit so make sure you choose your position well before securing.

My sister’s Vulcan 900 is a great highway bike because it has plenty of power and it’s a comfortable cruiser, but it doesn’t have highway pegs without installing a crash guard. We put this one on in a few minutes and now she has both. No foot pegs needed since the moustache shape provides nice dips upon which her boot heels rest comfortably. Good powder coat is durable against feet and laydowns of the bike.
