I was getting nervous about 18 year old tires on my 05 Sportster 1200R even though they still had usable tread at 15k miles.Did a bunch of reading on other options to Dunlop D401.Saw lots of lower prices but none realy met my needs,especialy weight of bike.Decided to go with original replacement D401 Dunlop. Rode it home yesterday and took it back out today.I am realy surprised at the handling difference,notable improvement,Fresh rubber realy made a difference.

I ride a lot on the hot pavement in south Florida.They have never let me down and the price isn’t shocking.Installs in about an hour if ya stop have a cold one during the project 🍻Grip is average to good.Appearance is’ ughhhh? Oh yeah! It looks just like a tire!Y’all be safe out there.

Tire did not even last a year , hardly ever ride bike, older couple don’t do burn outs or anything crazy. Didn’t even ride bike during winter and metal showing through tire already. Will have to reorder something and somewhere different now.
