Vacuum caps have no reinforcement and are intended for vacuum and very little pressure. The HPS reinforced silicone caps are manufactured just like our reinforced silicone radiator hoses. I don’t recommend this product. Received the item, package was in perfect condition. Once opened noticed the poor quality. Might just be my luck to receive a poorly formed hose end. But the pictures show the nearly threw void from the inside out. Also it is covered in fine slices on the exterior.
