Generator experts came out and checked the electrical. Couldn’t find anything wrong electrically. So I watched videos ordered parts from Amazon and fixed it myself. 28 dollars is cheaper than 5000$ for a new one. Bought 2 replacement parts just incase. Work great.

I needed a new brush set for the Dayton 2500 Briggs & Stratton generator (that was no longer available anywhere) this looked as though it would work. I had to change out wire ends from screw down to female plug to use on new brush set. Worked fine.

This part was just what I needed for my generator but it was really tough to install. The flywheel on my generator was stuck so I had to get that removed before replacing this part. Took over an hour to get the generator taken apart, installed, and then put back together
