I live in an apartment building and was frustrated with all the dings I was getting on my car doors. I ordered these and I am very satisfied The magnets are under the fabric so they don’t scratch and they are plenty strong to adhere to the side of the car. Just make sure your car doors are metal. Try a refrigerator magnet on them first to make sure they will stick. They are easy to put on the car and a breeze to remove. As one reviewer wrote, it is a little tricky to get the center strap to stay inside the door when you close it. I have the best luck by placing the bumper guard on the back car door, and then with the front door partly ajar, I place it on that door, too. Then I put the strap between the door and the jamb and close it slowly, holding the strap in place. I am very pleased with these. They give me peace of mind.

Finally decided to buy something after another car door opening scraped my driver side door. I first verified my doors are steel using a refrigerator magnet. As soon as they arrived I installed one set to protect both of my right side doors overnight in my complex parking space. I removed them before driving to work but didn’t notice until I put one set on at work, that there was a rub mark in about the same place as the scrape on my door, so it worked. I have a feeling there is also a psychological effect to alert a neighboring car to be careful opening their door. (Unless it’s a real jerk who takes it as a challenge) They are easy to put on and take off, it takes a few seconds. I usually store them on the floor of the front passenger side. The magnets don’t directly contact the door but they hold well if you don’t attach them over severe curves of the door panel. I make sure the door is clean where I install them to avoid small scratches.

I am soon to get a new car, under accessories there was no option to buy side protection bars. We travel on ferries to Europe every year,& on board the car deck there is not much space between the cars & passengers with their luggage. I saw these HRX Car Door Protectors advertised,& after reading reviews I was convinced to purchase a set. They are very well padded & lightweight. The magnets are enclosed within the material, so I do not anticipate any damage or scratching to my vehicle.

I recommend these to anyone who owns a car. Throw them in the back seat or your trunk and pop them on the side whenever you park in a tight space. I can leave my brand new car anywhere with the peace of mind that the door won’t get dinged by some careless motorist who parks too close to my whip.The magnetic power of these works so well that I’ve forgotten to remove them, hit the maximum speed limit on the highway for several miles, and arrived at work with them safely attached to my vehicle still. I just shake my head and laugh like I’m in a mentos commercial when this happens.

This product works well and is well made. It’s just hard to secure it in between the doors. We are afraid it could chip our paint if not secured properly. It’s also a bit pricey. But does the job well! Hoping for one that has bigger pads for bigger cars because we drive an SUV and would like to secure more parts of the car.

I always dreamed that there would eventually be a remedy for inconsiderate people in parking lots that just push their car door open and cause all kinds of scuffs along the side of your new car. This seems to be it. The only problem that I seem to have encountered is it’s pretty difficult to get the straps to catch inside the door so that they cannot be stolen or pulled off. I noticed when I do get the straps to stay in the door, then I’ve encountered problems actually opening my door because I think that I have caught the strap in the mechanism that catches and allows the door to close. Otherwise, I have used them a couple of times when I have been forced to park in a small crowded parking lot, and have had success so far. You just have to be extremely careful with how you close those straps in the car door.

This is a very cool product. It’s lightweight, easy to put on , and sticks magnetically to the car doors. Canvas strap tucks into the front doors so they can’t be removed and magnetic strips are covered in vinyl. I bought this to put on my car at the airport long term parking facility. It was a little pricey, but hey, where else can you purchase a unique and adequate product.

My husband takes care of our Honda SUV like it’s a Mercedes. He wanted something to put on the car bc we have neighbors parking next to us now and they have kids.It gives him the peace of mind that he is doing everything he can to prevent dings on the door.The length doesn’t cover the entire car so he uses the 2 on one side bc we don’t need it on the other side.The item has a puffy exterior with a magnet and it sticks on easily and comes off without any issue.Husband approved.

車に貼り付けても違和感なくかっこいいし、実際、どれだけの防御力があるかは不明ですが、少なくとも、周りの方に注意喚起するのに、とても役立っていると思います。テープをドアに挟むのは難しいので、ただ貼り付けているだけですが、盗られたとしてもドアパンチの修理代10万越えよりは安いので、お陰様で私は安心できます。とても良いグッズだと思います。

Mis vecinos de estacionamiento golpeaban mi coche todos los días, les dije q tuvieran cuidado, pero son muy groseros. Me hubiera gustado haber usado desde antes el producto y hubiera ahorrado varios portazos. Muy fácil de poner y quitar.

Seems good and the fabric is soft to keep safe the car surface… have not tested if it holds correctly, but I dont think it will be an issue..

Getting door dings from parking my car next to each other. This has been great! It stays secure but if it did there is a strap you can use to secure it. have used this a month and no issue. So glad I purchased this.
