I’ve got this vehicle with two 1 kW motors that I push pretty hard every year out in the desert and the motors need all of the cooling they can get. This heat sink snaps right on and seems to have decent clamping force. I slathered it with thermal grease first. If it increases thermal dissipation by even a few watts it’s a win.

I am not using this on a Delavan pump, but on another device that happens to be 4 inches in diameter so this heatsink fits fine. It’s too wide for my use, so I had to slice off a piece that fits. This aluminum heatsink can easily be cut with a carbide-tipped saw; I used a 12 inch miter saw. If you’re going to cut this, wear eye and ear protection, and long sleeves. Those little metal chips hurt when they hit bare skin.

Fits on my Kunray 1020 motor and helped to dissipate a lot of heat. I would reccomend thermal paste for more effectiveness.
