The throttle housing mounting holes are not threaded, the bolts are self-tapping for more secure connection.Factory part is also non-threaded, two reasons for this design
1. For more secure connection
2. For distinguishing whether it is brand new one or used one

Excellent quality part, well finished and perfect fit. Came with a new throttle body gasket which was nice touch.

The manifold itself is good, however all of the holes that hold the fuel line down needed to be tapped because there were no threads. The same with the throttle body and the computer on top. It’s like they forgot to rethread all of the aluminum. Do not recommend

I have never written a review before, but here it goes…If you’re looking for a quality intake manifold for your Mercedes C300 08-14 W204 then look no more. This is one of two intake manifolds I purchased to replace my broken down, 100,000+ mile Merc. This intake, by far, is of OEM quality and standards. All of the movable parts worked flawlessly, without hesitation, and most importantly without resistance. As I said, I ordered two different intakes from different companies and I could tell straight out the box the other would have failed and probably still caused me to have a check engine light on my dashboard. On top of quality for the money this part also comes with both intake and throttle body gaskets eliminating the need to purchase anything else to complete this job. Pro tip: make sure you have all the proper tools needed before attempting to complete this job yourself. You must remover the wiring harness and fuel rail before accessing the intake.

Deburr holes, and flatten surfaces with a file. I pre rolled the threads in the manifold with a TimeCert tap. I then tested all of the functions with a vacuum pump, and a power supply. I had trouble keeping the gaskets in place when I was dropping it in there. I ended up putting a few extra long bots in there with the heads sawed off to hold the gaskets in place. After torqueing it all together, I performed a read and reset, and then a simple prayer. I think it should last., as long as the plastic compound is correct.

It comes with not threaded and holes are not casting good, I rather it has smaller holes so I can drill to correct size then tapping to 6mm. I can tell threads are not so good after I tapped to 6mm. I put blue threadlocker on each bolt and carefully torque to 80 in-lb for all. It can be problematic if you need some rework since the thread is not so good. I sealed all holes and put a glove to cover mass air flow intake and mask tapped all large holes and put new fuel injector o’rings then I did a smoke vacuum leak test before I put on the engine to avoid any reworks. I did find some small leak from plastic mass flow sensor body gaskets. I got new one. Completely clean all surfaces touching gaskets, using engine valve cleaner to clean all 12 valves and soak for while then vacuum thoroughly. Using string tighten gaskets with manifold through middle four mounting holes to make sure gaskets at right position. I put four corner mounting bolts then cut the string. It is important to check each fuel injector holes are all aligned correctly since there are some play for all mounting holes, specially front rubber parts touching other parts and put whole manifold towards firewall. Hand tighten for corner bolts then recheck all alignment before torque bolts. Torque middle cross from left to right then torque four corners. Hand push fuel injector in from middle to corner and check each o’ring at the same correct depth, be very careful to hand tighten fuel rail bolt first and torque to 80 in-lb and put bluelocker since threads are not perfect! After I changed the manifold idle and loaded short/long term fuel trims are less than +/-3%, it gets major improvements for my almost 200K miles 2011 ML350.
