I installed this on the driver’s side rear door of my 2002 GMC Safari. It fit well enough and holds my 175 lbs without feeling like it’s going to collapse or fall off, though it is very light weight. Be careful not to over-tighten the screws.

It’s doing it job

Lightweight. Very stable if you put aftermarket screws through the entire door rather than self tappers. I also bought nonslip tape to put on the steps. This greatly helped with traction. And reduced glare from the sun bouncing off the stair step.

Easy to install on Ford E250 from 2012.Been using it to get up and down the van, to the roof top. Average 180 lbs – 200 lbs no problem.

Lightweight like a feather. No joke, kind of funny when you pick it up though. I’ve had mine for 6 Years now. I sprayed it black and it looks just the same. Little bit of sun fade. Cheesy d screws straight into the metal, no bolt. And nut. Be sure to line it up right the first time. Drilling, those holes can be a bit scary. But if you get it right, it looks really good. I wouldn’t recommend anybody over a 150 pounds on it, though, without bolts and nuts.
