I love how easy this looks to install. I had put in a smaller one but it hasn’t proven to have been worth the money or time I put in. This fan has in and out features along with auto moisture closure. Our depth is just under what this unit alone is, and from what I’ve seen it’s easy to cut. I like that it has a remote so you can control it easily. It seem well made and comes with the roof and under screws. I have yet to install due to time and weather, but can’t wait for when I do. I’m looking forward to the upgrade. I’ll post once it gets installed, can’t wait. It looks and feels like a quality product.Product update…Wow I knew it would be nice to upgrade my vent, but this is a great vent fan. Installation took almost 2 days due to getting old unit out and ready for this one. I had to cut the garnish which was all most real easy(measure twice and then cut, add 1/2 more to cut. Easy to work remote. Very quiet fan no matter the speed. The rain sensor works well. This is well worth the money to upgrade. I’m very pleased and ready for the upcoming trip. I don’t think you will be disappointed. The plastic garnish was much better then the ones that was in there.

I got this to upgrade the vent fan in my RV bathroom. The original one worked, but not very feature friendly. If you did not open the vent and needed the fan, well unless you open and turn everything on after, you kind of defeat the purpose. I already had the wiring and everything was a simple swap. I do like that remote can control everything you need. I have attached it to the wall right next to the toilet so it is convenient to reach when you need it. Everything seems to be made as well if not better than the original one it replaced. There is a lot of plastic there, but that does seem to be about normal for most RV equipment. This is certainly an upgrade to the cheap fans they install originally in RVs and you could also use this a fan over your bed or elsewhere. It is less expensive than a number of other similar ones on the market, so I think you get a feature rich fan for a reasonable price with this choice.

Our one year-old expensive fan did not live up to expectations. I could have lived with that, but on our last trip, the fan cover kept lifting while we were driving. We tried everything, but it just would not stay down. This fan fits the same opening and has similar features, although it was very snug to fit in. It seems like a much better value for the money. The lid hasn’t lifted while we were driving yet, so I’m pretty happy.

This fan is incredibly quiet and has been a game-changer for our RV trips with the kids, keeping the air fresh without waking anyone up. The rain sensor is a thoughtful feature, ensuring we don’t have to worry about sudden weather changes while it’s running. With its 10 speeds and reversible airflow, it’s versatile and efficient. I highly recommend it.

Our RV trailer came with vent fans in both the bathroom and kitchen. The vents are standard 14″ square but the fans are only about 4″ in diameter so they don’t move a lot of air. This aftermarket fan features a 12″ diameter fan with 10 fan blades. It moves a lot of air and does it very quietly. There are 10 speeds and it can be set to bring air into the RV or push air out. You can barely hear it at low speeds.Replacement of your current vent fan is fairly easy as long as your RV has a power line already up to the current vent. The most difficult part of installation is cutting the inner trim ring to fit your roof thickness. The trim ring fits a ceiling thickness of 6″ to 7″ thick, anything less requires trimming the plastic trim to fit properly. The remote control is a little large but features a nice screen showing all functions and settings. The kit also comes with a wall bracket for storing the remote. The fan housing also has a push button control panel allowing full control without the remote.Long term reliability is critical for RV appliances and I had to give this fan 3 stars because my push button control panel is only partially functioning. The power and lid DOWN buttons work and sometimes the fan OUT button works but the RAIN sensor, IN and lid UP buttons do not function at all. These functions do all work perfectly from the remote.I also have not been able to remove the inner screen ring for cleaning. This should just pop down but it is so tight I am afraid to break it.

I’m really pleased with this remote controlled vent fan. It moves a lot of air and it fit my travel trailer perfectly. Against all logic, my toy hauler came with a manually operated fan at the highest point of the trailer (about 10 ft) that no human would ever be able to reach. This fan solved my issue, and now I’m able to open the vent and turn on the fan for some fresh air with the push of a button. This vent fan is sized appropriately and installation was pretty easy. The fan speed is sufficient to move a good volume of air, and the fan is quiet. It functions great, it doesn’t leak, and I love the remote control feature (really a necessity in my case). I think it’s a good value for the money and I wouldn’t hesitate to buy it again.Recommended.
