These work great and are easy to work with. I made a mistake and had to pull several sheets off and attempt to reapply. Well, they still attached and are still attached a month later inside a sorry car door.

I have a 4 door Silverado and ordered two boxes of the 25 sq/ft ones. This covered half of the floor in the cab and nothing on the doors. Plan on getting more than you think you’ll need.

I’m writing this review as a warning to those who may be thinking of using this product behind a headliner as a heat and sound barrier. The glue is no match for Southern California heat. The foam panels simply melted right off the ceiling of my car leaving a MASSIVE mess to clean. Should’ve trusted my gut when I saw how weak the adhesive was in our summer heat. The surface was well-prepped too prior to sticking these sheets on with acetone to take off any residue that may have been on the metal. I’d stay far away from this product.

Compared to three other brands of butyl sound proofing and self adhesive foam that I’ve used on a van project, the SGM product line is of the best quality and value. I hope they maintain their quality and don’t change their product for the worse like another brand I used.

the adhesive is gummy so the surface does not have to be super flat. my p1s printer was a little loud so i stuck these on the inside and outside and it made a difference. looks like the adhesive will leave residue if I ever pull them off which would be difficult as they stick pretty good.
