Make sure you bake it carefully. I used the whole POR system to paint my disk break rotors for my Jeep. I multicoated the cleaner and PORs prepped doctors then let dry. I first cured them at 250 then let cool. I top coated them with high temp engine paint. I did three thin costs. Learned the hard way to do thin coats. I baked the rotors as recommended until completely fired then cooler. I was so excited i forgot to take photos!! They turned out great. After snow and salt, i will post some photos and results.

  2. Imported from AmazonSource context: I purchased a used Weber Grill off of Facebook Marketplace to replace parts on my grill that was rusting after 6-7 years outside. In purchasing the grill I found out that grill was kept inside so there was no rust to contend with, just some very minor surface rust in just a few spots. The sides of my grill I am replacing I prepared by sanding and cleaned/decreased before applying 2-3 coats of grey high temp POR-15 spray paint. After I let sit for 24 hours, I then lightly wet sanded the POR-15 pieces with 600 grit and then thoroughly cleaned. To protect and enhance each piece I then used a quality clearcoat on each piece, putting down 3 coats. After drying for 24 hrs, each piece looks better than brand new. I learned that POR-15 can break down from direct sunlight without painting over POR-15. Although I will see how these pieces hold up after a year and more, so far it looks great after 2-3 months.
