This was in a Jeep Patriot, known problem of a noise , kinda loud howl. They are easy to replace but impossible to identify which of the 2 bearings is causing the noise visually so they are replaced at the same time. It only makes the noise when spinning over 2,000 rpms and when the car is in motion and they are 6″ apart, about 10 inches in from the right front tires.I had to find the other one elsewhere, which further irritated me because I was led to alternative part number and a transmission parts warehouse in Texas who sold me the part at a fraction of this price. And delivered faster. I will provide pictures and part numbers later.
