At first these shocks were great, making the unit easier to maintain traction by slowing down the operator. After about two months of commercial usage (almost every day and multiple yards), we found that one of the shocks looks to be leaking. The leaking shock feels like it is still operating okay at this time. The threaded end of the shock finally loosened off from vibrations, easily attached again with threadlocker added. For the price these are okay for a residential usage maybe but might not hold up to commercial usage.

I think the reviews of broken ones are because the are installing them like the older style. If I would have done that, they would have broken quickly. Make sure to shim them so the move straight. Mine work perfectly.

They work, but not oem quality. They have about an inch of free play before the resistance starts. The good oem one didn’t have that.

They were leak to start with and only lasted a month. how do I get warranty coverage.

Good replacement for a set of worn out steering shocks. Rods are slightly smaller than original ones but with advances in technology maybe that won’t matter. You should be able to replace both in less than 30 minutes with minimal tools and experience.

We are running a lot of older tractors, so ordered these to replace some on a Case IH and these worked great.
