Update: It only lasted 10 months before it gave up the ghost. I have the same remote for my other car and it’s lasted 7 years… Extremely disappointedMy only complaint is the battery life before it needs recharged. But then you have to remember that it does have and lcd, makes sound, vibrates, and is a two way remote. So he battery life won’t be amazing but good enough. It was super easy to pair. Just follow the instructions.

Just follow the instructions included. I have had mine for over a month. I originally charged it the day I received it and over a month later it is still at full charge.

Very good remote with a good distance and great as an upgrade to have two ways indications, to show you when the device on your car received the order to start the engine, it will show you time of how long the engine going to be running, alert at 3 minutes abd 1 minuet before engine turns off, it will show you if the car is locked or unlocked. Over all happy with it.

1方向リモコンは所持しているが双方向リモコンが便利な為注文した。配送も早く期待通りの質感でした。いざリモコンを登録しようと添付の説明書に従い行ったが、何度やっても途中から先に進めない。仕方がないので、VIPER本体の手順書に従った所無事登録が出来ました。添付の手順書には手順の抜けがあり登録など出来ない様です。安くない買い物ですから正確な手順書を作成して下さい。

Product was exactly what I wanted. Programming it was quick…it was brutally cold last month so remote start is essential. I’ve had the viper system for years and love it. The fob stopped working so had to replace it. Flawless.

I just replaced this on a 2016 vehicle so I got 7 years out of the last one. I’d say that’s a pretty good life span. This thing will crank my truck for a mile away (not literally)… but probably a football field away minimum. I’ve been pleased with this remote over the years. They are kind of tricky to program but you can find videos on youtube that will get you there. I hear they may be harder to get in the future so I’d grab a replacement if you think it’s getting close to time.

Have had the Viper on the FJ Cruiser for 10 years. Charging port broke on my original remote. Found this unit cheaper on Amazon than the local shops. It took a little time to sync do to me missing a critical step 😆. Glad I’m back driving with a new fully functional Viper remote on my FJ.

I wanted to have a spare remote because I have had to get a whole new alarm system in the past, because I couldn’t find a remote for the older system. Nice to see Viper is still producing these remotes and Amazon has easy access to them.
