Cut my teeth on an older truck that I’m not too worried about and am going to use this next a new truck now that I have one under my belt. Used Fluid Film on a nice 70-degree day. I did not use the extender tubes on the test truck but will on the new one to get into the frame.

Works good, Like how the canister is a little bigger than the other sprayer I have. Seems to be built pretty well. Will report back if I have any issues.

This tool has transformed what could have been a tedious task into a smooth and efficient process.The spray gun performs exceptionally well, distributing the undercoat evenly across surfaces. Haven’t actually used it yet but the trigger mechanism seems a little loose. Might not be that way once you actually have it paint going through it but we’ll see. Large capacity drum, easy to install it onto the gun.

I purchased this sprayer specifically to apply Hercules bed liner to the floor, interior, and under the hood of my classic Jeep Wrangler YJ. The hose is particularly effective for reaching into nooks and crannies, as well as other challenging spots that are often difficult to access. Overall, I found the sprayer to perform exceptionally well; the canister is slightly larger than other sprayers I’ve used in the past, which allows for less frequent refills during application. Additionally, it seems to be constructed with durable materials, suggesting it will hold up well over time.

this undercoating gun is a big step up from the basic ones — this one has a knob to adjust the flow of undercoating separately from the flow of air. This makes it a lot easier to get an even coat of undercoating without overapplication. I used the gun to apply fluid film, which is fairly thick; it had no problem picking up the fluid film and applying it. the gun is comfortable in the hand, with fingertip control of the spray. the undercoating can be sprayed from the gun in a cone pattern, or you can attach the included short or long hoses to apply the undercoating inside hard-to-access spots. cleanup is hopeless, i just put the entire undercoating gun in a plastic bag when i was done so it’s ready for next winter’s use.

I guess it depends on what you use this for whether it works as advertised or not. I used it for spraying fluid film, which is about the same thickness as butterscotch pudding. It worked great with the nozzle, and also the wand with the end hole, but it would not work when using the 360° wand. Adjustments didn’t help. The instruction manual does not match the model, so be aware of that.
