Will installing air springs increase the weight ratings of a vehicle?
No. Adding air springs will not change the weight ratings (GAWR, GCWR and/or GVWR) of a vehicle. Exceeding the GVWR is dangerous.

Is it necessary to keep air in the air springs at all time and how much pressure will they need?
Maintain the minimum 5 PSI air pressure at all times to keep the air spring in shape and ensure it moves throughout its travel without rubbing or wearing on itself

Will lifting the vehicle by the frame damage the air springs?
If it is necessary to lift the vehicle by the frame, first release the air pressure from the air springs. After servicing of the vehicle is complete, lower the vehicle to the ground and reinflate the air helper springs to the desired pressure.

Instructions were easy to read and pretty straightforward. Installed on an 04 Tundra Double Cab 4X4. Didn’t take too long. Something that can be installed in a driveway. Fit my truck. I would suggest checking the other side of the frame before drilling. I had to shift my brake lines out of the way on the driver’s side and go slow. Had a small issue with the valve stems, but customer service was quick to reply and had new ones to me in short order. Overall, I am very satisfied with me purchase, and would definitely use these again.

01 Tundra. So other then then drilling into frame. Having too saw one of the bolts off so it doesn’t hit a break line the engineering is so so. The 90 degree elbow that goes in the top of the bag shouldn’t need tape on the threads to seal since it has stuff on the thread. But both leaked. Since the upper bracket hole is too small to fit the elbow through you have to take the upper bracket off. Screw in the elbow then place the bracket on the bag then bolt to frame. Since both did not hold air the first time I bought a guage to keep an eye on them since now I don’t trust it. One photo on the Amazon ad showed a bag with a threaded piece coming out of the bag. That would be perfect if that’s what they would send. Fingers crossed it works from now on

This is a real review not generated. If you have a first gen tundras and tow a travel trailer or toy hauler, I cannot recommend these enough. I have a 5500lb loaded weight travel trailer and these make the world difference with leveling the rig. Install is a 2 hour job if your mechanically inclined and 4 hours for someone new to it. Functionality and quality are superb for the price. I’ve had them for a total of a 6000 mile trip and have had zero issues
