I love pechargers for the fact that they keep bugs/debris out of the main filter’s pleats. Cleaning the filter takes much less time since there isn’t any junk jammed in the filter. Well worth the investment.

This is a must have for an exposed filter. Mine sits in a front duct so it’s exposed to sand, bugs, rocks and everything else. Without the pre filter, I had to clean and reoil every few thousand miles. The prefilter negates this need; it blocks all the junk and doesn’t get clogged itself. It’s also very water resistant and keeps the filter from getting soaked.

I’m impressed. Can it still let water in? Yes. Will it stop a significant amount of water coming out of a garden hose at 1″ away? Absolutely! Seriously, don’t buy cheap parts that involve engines.
