Didn’t have the original controller in the truck. As a maintenance item decided to replace it with the ACDelco one.Works just fine.

I ordered one of these and had my shop install it to replace one that functioned, but was getting flaky. The ACDelco unit did not work, so I returned it for another one, it did not work either. Upon testing the ACDelco unit, I found that the + and – terminals were reversed compared to the GM service manual and the unit that came off my truck. In the end, I returned both ACDelco parts and ordered the DieselRX #01005 equivalent.

Apparently these are junk, and only occasionally work correctly out of the box. I’m not the first person to have this experience.

It was missing the nuts and had marks and dirt on it. When I was putting it together I started to tighten one of the nuts and the plastic cracked. I should have just gone with the local parts store.
