First I bought the Anco Vintage wiper blades 20-12 for my 57 Chevy pickup because the originals are sloppy. The new blades were sloppy on the old wiper arms so I ordered 41-02 arms and nether the arms or the blades come with the adopters to attach to each other. Called Federal-Mogul/Anco (1-800-325-8886) and spoke to a representative at their tech line and he told me the adapters should of came with the arms but its my problem because I bought the products from Amazon. Now I have to go out and buy two 47-63 Adapters to see if the new blades will work. Amazon gets $7.98 each for the adapters and Summit get $1.95 each.

Great solution to sloppy/ill fitting wiper arms. It does take some trial and error to get them set correctly for the most efficient wiper pattern, but once set, they work perfectly. As mentioned in another review, they are not polished, and have a matte finish. Other than the base, and the angle adjustment joint, which are painted a metallic gray and gray plastic respectively, the rest of the arm looks to be able to be polished out if desired.

Having an old pick up (51 years) the normally sold items sold at auto parts stores if they fit are still not the same. These are for the old schoolers and work the same as the original wiper arms. Matched with the old style metal wipers is just what I wanted. They look right and now if I can find them I can just replace the rubber blade when needed. That’s how we used to do it.

Wasn’t sure how these would fit my application. There was slight interference with the wiper blade. Chose to go a different route.

Wiper arms are well made, easy to install and adjust. good strong spring for great wiper/windshield contact. For my boat application I actually needed the arm slightly shorter than 10″ and was easily able to cut to fit.

In a marine environment its excellent how ever the kit is not complete wjth out the proper converter example the 3/8 to 1/4 shaft converter is missing an extra hassle to try to reorder or finding prs for it
