First impresion was very nice mirrors, very clear and sharp. As soon as I positioned it on the windshield of my 17′ tunnel hull I though about that line from the movie Jaws: “I think your going to need a bigger boat”. This mirror is big! Especially since it is only about a foot in front of my face. It does provide great visabilty behind, though will obstruct forward visabilty if not mounted high above the windshield. The mounting bracket metal threads are crossthreaded which will quickly tear up the plastic threads of tightening knob. Will be contacting supplier and manufacture about this issue tomorrow. But it should be a great mirror for any serious water skier.Roy

I have a John Deere 2305 tractor with a Curtis cab, and have been looking for a good rear view mirror so I don’t put the 3ph into my car! Curtis had one for $90, but was really poorly designed- forst it would only go on vertically, and had no ball joint and only one axis rotation adjustment, and in the wrong direction- so i returned it.So then I typed in wide ‘view rear mirror’ and found these CIPA water-ski mirrors- I made it a point to get the biggest one with adjustable sides, and boy, besides looking at myself all the time in the middle- works great! I can see everything behind me, and to the sides, now without having external side mirrors for the trees to remove while mowing. I can stop craning my neck to see behind me as well.I had to insert a piece of 1″ wood to fill the channel above the windscreen for the clamp to bite onto, and the knob hits the roof, making it hard to tighten, but it is flexible enough to do, and could have replaced with a bolt, but works fine- nice cast hardware and ball joint on the back of the mirror head, so I can dial that right in. Perfect for this application. If I find it hard to keep tight, I’ll just make a block adapter and screw that to the frame, and clamp the mirror to that. Right now I can’t wiggle it loose by hand.

Purchased this mirror to update our pontoon so we could watch the people tubing or skiing behind us safely. It offers exceptional viewing and with the 2 adjustable wing mirrors built in allows for a far wider viewing range than a standard mirror. Unfortunately most pontoons have a flimsy windshield and this mirror is HUGE, which causes 1. Blocking of driving view 2. Major mirror bouncing… To mount it successfully to a pontoon you have to make a mount to have it hang above the console. I had seen another poster who had done this and decided it was the route for my setup, so at work I made myself a mounting bracket. (I may have to manufacture these)The only issue with having to mount this onto the Bimini frame of the pontoon is when you have the Bimini top folded down. The mount cause the mirror to hang out into the walking area and not being used to it I have walked/backed into it a few times… though it takes some modification to make it work the only headache for me was when I walked into it.

WOW! It really is big and works amazing. I thought it might be too big, but, it’s one of those “yup, it’s just the right size”. Allows you to see skier and tubers behind you while being able to watch where your going. A couple other people said the same thing, then drove the boat and had to agree it was better than the smaller ones. Real mirror with glass, so you see a real clear image. not like others I’ve seen and tried. The angle mirrors are great to bring it all together into a quick glance when driving. I see what the spotter is seeing and can react when someone falls or signals. A knob clamp holds very well and is easy to remove for when your just put-putting around. The only thing I could stretch to say bad is a personnel want. Like a low profile quick release option. Maybe one that would allow the boat cover to go over with out having to remove. That said, I would buy again. Although, I might not have to it’s well built.

This mirror is great except for the screw that holds the mount on the dashboard. It strips over time and now (4 years later) keeps falling off.

I sue this on my 2024 Yamaha 252sd. Great mirror

I’m an avid waterskier. This is the best mirror I’ve ever owned. The two outside panels are adjustable so you can see the turns. And this mirror is quite large even without the side panels. Also, the hardware that holds it on the windshield is extremely heavy duty. Most are cheap plastic but this is solid metal on the hardware. Highly recommended well worth the money
