    Excellent kit! – Impeller was sturdy and flexible and the top plate was “ported” on the lip of the opening – Use a zip tie around the impeller blades to fold them in to help you get it in place as you insert in into the cup – (if you have some synthetic grease or lube you can use a dab to keep the impeller key in place, but if you use the zip tie and don’t have to fight it, it’s really easy to install! – Make sure to place the large seal on the shaft after replacing the top of the water pump housing and an o-ring near the top of the shaft in the groove under the splines (with marine grease) I didn’t use the spout since I use a section of well fit hose already, but I think the other o-ring may go under that spout – Great kit! Would get this one again for sure for the price!

    Bought this kit for a 76 mercury 7.5. The metal impeller plate was larger than oem and did not fit. Luckily I was able to reuse the old one. The exhaust tube, impeller and top seal were fine and fit properly. I did not need the other gaskets so not sure about fitment. I’d give it 5 stars if it all fit properly.
